When J.P. would put Kat on my bed with me my anxiety disappeared. I was totally paralyzed and on a respirator, so J.P. would have to take my hand and put it on Kat. Even though I could not feel her, her presence had an incredibly calming effect on me.
Kat's legacy is the positive impact that she had in the lives of countless children and families, not to mention the admiration and respect of the entire staff of the Children's Center.
I've had the honor of Carol and Dance being part of my treatment for cancer during my chemo days for 4 years. They bring sunshine to my days and always a smile on my face! I feel blessed to have them by my side in my battle with cancer.
